This is my first ever project using CAD, Optimisation and Rendering software. I started teaching myself how to use the programs 2 weeks ago when I found out about this challenge. I like a good challenge, and having built a custom drone prior to this, I used this knowledge to design the Grab Transporter Model: KB1. The drone is made to be easily assembled mechanically, leaving enough space to secure all electronic components in the designated spaces using Velcro stick on tape(or via screws or cable ties). The drone is also designed to hold the payload easily and securely by anyone even a child(using simple velcro straps), and, made strong enough out of ABS M30, to withstand the flying abilities of any pilot young or old of any level of flying capabilities. The drone also has a mounting bracket for an FPV camera(as set out in the optional area of the specification sheet attached,a fantastic option for anyone that will use this after the challenge). I hope this is enjoyed by many pilots. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this challenge. :) (Programs used: Initial design done on Fusion 360, final design and submission with OnShape, Clara.io , cloudtopopt.com and One Render(all of which are my first time using, I hope I did use them right?
