One of my all time favorite weapons, the Halberd. It just looks mean! This weapon was made cheap in the beginning of it's creation and given to low ranking soldiers, but over time they were reinforced for better blocking power using the shaft, and many other refinements to stand against horseman, pikes & spears, and the general field combatant. The Swiss used them right up until 1793 AD. That's about 3000 years worth of bloodshed, crazy right?
