Backpack Tablet Holder for LED Rear Sign – Rückschild LED This project is a custom tablet holder/case designed to mount an old Android tablet securely on the back of a backpack. The idea is to reuse an older tablet as a bright digital rear sign for walking, commuting, cycling-related visibility projects, exhibitions, or other mobile applications. The tablet can display high-contrast scrolling messages on a completely black screen. The companion Android application supports bright orange or red pixel-style text and a large blinking red directional arrow, making the display especially visible at night. The holder is intended to keep the tablet firmly attached to the backpack while keeping the screen clearly visible. It can be adapted to different tablet dimensions, mounting straps, sewing points, or backpack designs. Example display message: “ARBEIT RUFT!
