Objective:-Make a portable vice which is easily hand able and suitable for multi use in Mechanical workshop Vice :- Vice is a Mechanical Engineering tool which holds object between jaws by doing so further mechanical operation can be performed. It is a simple hand operated tool. First design a suitable vice base which can withstand against Fluctuating load . Movable Jaws and fix Jaw which is clamp on base by sling joint. Safety Handle and its handle stop ball on each end . Clamp screw with square threaded . Make a piece which holds clamp screw and Base of vice. Portable clamp they may be used or no according workspace. Tightening screw with one end handle and square threaded between clamp and workstation. Make nut and bolt for fixing all parts . One jaws has a Scale which can be directly used for measurement of workpiece .
