Instead of caging all the mosquitoes, let’s stop them from breeding. The primary method suggested in all the research to eradicate malaria includes draining water from all the corners. Stagnant or blocked water is the house of mosquitoes. If all the corners are cleaned and dry, the mosquitoes will have no space to lay their eggs. The Hand drainer is an economical vacuum draining device to remove water from every corner which is difficult or impossible by Sponges. A pipe of 10mm diameter is to be attached to inlet and outlet of the Hand Drainer. The pipe can be reached to every narrow passage and remove water. Unlike Electrical Vacuum cleaner, this device does not require the electrical source to operate. When the plunger is pulled backward, the piston moves with it, generating a negative pressure in the compartment. This pressure pulls the Governor. When Governor is moved backward, it blocks the outlet and opens the Inlet of the drainer. This allows the water to get sucked into the chamber. When the piston is pushed, the governor is pushed with it. Since the holes present on Governor and Inlet is not axial, the flow from the inlet stops and outlet get opened. Thus in a complete cycle of operation, the water is gushing inside from the front and then drained outside via outlet to a bucket or drainage. This device is efficient in removing water from the unused aquarium, inflatable pool, unhygienic spots or any unreachable passages.
