It is becoming unavoidably obvious that covid-19 is not in hurry to leave us just yet. A lot of brave people have rendered their support in combating the pandemic and i've been having this feeling guilt for not contributing my quota. What you see here is a modular/standalone hand washing area with 700L norminal capacity and can serve for 1,400 users/day. It is designed with assembly/disassembly flexibility, ease of use, overall cost and electricity free in mind. It is particularly suited for large public gathering entrances such as supermarkets, shopping malls, big corporate organisations and so on. It can also be used indoors of these buildings since the dirty water is temporarily collected in the lower tank and then discharged safely via a convenient flexible. The left side of the unit has a soap dispenser that is operated by a foot pedal using the left leg to obtain one squirt of soap. After smearing and rubbing the soap thoroughly on the hands for about 20 secs, the user can then depress the right side foot pedal to obtain water for washing hands.
