A haptic robotic arm designed for a dental training simulator, letting dental students practice procedures with realistic force feedback. I developed this as an internship project, designing and modeling the arm’s components in CAD and doing the stress analysis by hand to make sure the load-bearing parts could safely handle operating forces. The design aims for smooth, precise motion and solid structural integrity, both of which matter in a medical training device.
