Headphone Spool By: Elizabeth Bonner & Gary Hueftlein · 模型 257616
The simple entanglement of earbuds while stored in pockets or types of baggage, is a problem faced by all kinds of people. Our innovation is to improve storage methods using a circular design that greatly keeps the well being of earbuds in mind. By using two separate pieces this goal can be easily obtained with a bit of work. The main base has central column with four particularly spaced out divisions to place the earbuds and the headphone port before or after wrapping depending on the user's preference. The column also serves as a place to wrap the cords of the headphone on the outside surface. When all is well positioned the lid screws on using threads and will keep everything securely stored until later usage or wants. The circular shaping style was chosen to help prevent cord damage on headphones or even other possible cords that might be stored inside. Typically cords get jumbled and stored the wrong way causing them to break down faster, but this innovation was made to help prevent that as well as for convenient hand-sized, side storage. The threads even lead to easy opening access for users young or old. All these thoughts lead to the design of the headphone spool.
