High voltage power tower · 模型 52154
A high voltage power tower is a tall structure made of steel grids used to support an overhead power line. In power grids, they are used to carry high-voltage transmission lines that transmit major electrical power from generating stations to substations. Power poles are used to support low voltage transmission and distribution sublines that carry power from substations to electricity customers. The high voltage power tower must hold the heavy transmission conductors at a safe and sufficient height from the ground. In addition, all towers must withstand various natural disasters. Therefore, designing a transmission tower is an important engineering work in which the concepts of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering are equally applicable.
