A printable joint between 30mm aluminum extrusion and 9.5mm (3/8in) fiberglass rods. This design is a branch from hinge30 published in 2025. Insert the rod by 15mm into the pivoting body and use CA glue to bond it. It is best to print with ABS filament. Previous tests proved up to 500 lbs of pullout force withstood for this type of bond. The hinge pin is made from LDPE tubing, 3/8 in outer diameter or you may replace with steel or other materials for more rigidity.
