I made this Honeycomb Extrusion to use as a template and cutter. Using SpaceClaim, I import it, scale it to the size I want, and intersect it with my hollow part. Then I cut it with the hollow part, delete the trimmings, and I'm left with a honeycomb structure in the hollow cavity of my part. I frequently use it to reduce material usage when making 3d printed molds.
