I present my Hot Rod custom design project. Some words about technique that I used for this project: - For all surfacing works I used splines, becouse there are perfect for designs like this. But basically I do not recomend splines for engineering works (never, ever!). So the key method is to make points in 3D sketch based on sketch, blueprint or your imagination and then connect them by splines. This is very fast and efficient method and allow you to make changes very easly. Four splines give you a nice surface, if needed use constraint curves (less is better!). - The technique that I used for my before surfacing projects was: make one 3D path based on two 2D paths -> then four 3D paths gives one surface. Yes, much more accuracy, but also much (!) more time consuming. Both technique are good in my opinion, just depends on your needs and spare time to spend on ;).
