This is my second hot wire heater for bending acrylic glass. The electric voltage must be lower than 48V, otherwise you will risk your life!!! I use the 24V transformer which you can find in my first heater model to run this heater. The mechanism to keep the tension of the wire is much simpler than in my first heater. I noticed that a much smaller travel is sufficient to keep the wire under tension.
