3d representation of a real left female human femur obtained from CT scan images. The medical imaging software used to read the DICOM files of CT scan and obtain de STL file was 3D Slicer, which was also used to smooth the imperfections caused by the proccess. That file was later imported in Autodesk Inventor software to extract cross sectional properties from the femur's shaft. This being the theme of my senior thesis in college. The DICOM image set was obtained from www.embodi3d.com. It is named "samapple_CT1" uploaded by the user netlimit2000.
