This type of frame is used in the treatment of bone and it is called the “Ilizarov technique”. The technique is used to correct congenital malformed bones, bone fractures and bone lengthening. It is being used in the treatment for my wife and just made the model by observing it. The bone in the model is taken from a model uploaded by Fjodors Tjulkins. Many thanks to him.
