The boaters among us will understand it quite quick. It's that simple that there is nothing to be protected by a patent (the system not the pulley). Everyone can understand and use it with any other pulley. It's about a system which is indicating the position of the anchor. Therefor is the pulley needed. The weight (2-3kg) is thigtening the rope. The lenght of the rope between the anchor and the weight should be about 1,5x of the depth. The schematics shows how to be used. It shows also (with the plastic bottle toghether) the direction of the current if that's not visible because too slow. The dedicated systems from marine shops are expensive (~200€), my system costs about 10€. The main goal was to use only parts that are cheap and easy to find in every construction market or DIY store. A bench wise and a few hammerblows, two of the existing holes drilled out to Ø8mm, two to Ø6,5mm. That's all actually.
