The roof is supported by 24 groups steel frame. In order to reduce the tensile strength of the joint on steel frame with ring of roof, each steel frame should be located nearly tangent to the ring (see the frame from top). The steel frames are located along an ellipse, as the same time, we want to max the internal area. What is the best ratio of width and length of the ellipse?? GH programme is then used to produce the complicated steel frame with (1) the variable of number of steel frame, (2) the location of each steel frame.
