Janua Vase · 模型 205485
This model stems from a reinterpretation of myth: the two opposing female faces drawinspiration not solely from Janus, but from the original figure of Janua, the goddess of becoming and transitions. Unlike the binary rigidity of the Roman god of portals, Janua represents the continuous flow of transformation—the eternal movement between what has been and what is about to happen, and the transparencies and reflections of the glass fit the concept perfectly. I downloaded the head model from the GrabCAD library many years ago; I can no longer find it, so I wouldn't be able to say who the author is. "A note on pronunciation: Although written as Janua, the name follows classical Latin phonetics and is pronounced 'Ianua' (with an initial 'Y' sound, as in Italian)." Ianua [ˈjaːnu.a]."
