How does branding and Identity play a part in design? In this project I look at the aspects of what makes the Jeep brand language so iconic. By looking from its 1940’s early roots into its new flagship models, threads of design choices can be found. These trade dress signatures are applied to the housing and internals of an off the shelf Black & Decker saw. The Jeep Grizzley Saw encompasses all of the internals which were featured in the Black and Decker Saw including internal support. The saw features a rubberized grip along with sheet metal elements creating unmatched durability, a staple of the Jeep brand. designed at Massachusetts college of Art and Design printed on Prusa i3
