This model of a Philippine Jeepney was created with BySoft CAD/CAM to spread the knowledge about this interesting piece of culture. Jeepneys are common means of transportation in the Philippines and often artful customized by their owners. For the POC simulation I used a Bystronic Xpert40 press brake and I have to admit that this application requires some patience with the tool selection and set up. Therefore I attached a possible full bending sequence. For the pre-hemming step I choose to use a special horn set that will have to be unclamped and slide out after the bend to release the part but with a hydraulic clamping that should not be a big issue. If you have other ideas for this please write them in the comments. New perspectives are always welcome.
