Jetex Flying Wheel · 模型 57003
This is a 3D-printed version of an old Jetex flying wheel from the 1950's. Depending on the size of your 3D printer bed, you might have to split the flying wheel into three or four segments then glue them together as I had to. I CAD'd two separate versions: one that is fully 3D-printed, and then another more authentic balsa version that has 24 individual 3D printed vanes/propeller blades held in place with 2mm dia carbonfibre rods. That latter version is attached as a Fusion360 file - several advanced CAD packages can read that. I've tried to stick to the original imperialist dimensions where possible, allowing for the fact that 3D printers use metric. If there is a problem with me publishing this design, please let me know immediately.
