This is a simple lock like one that would be inside a household locked doorknob.For the basic concept of locks this model is good, but if precise measurements are needed do not use this one. Measurements were guestimated. Explanation: The black pins and the colored pins block the inside cylinder form rotating when an incorrect key is inserted, but when the correct key is inserted all of the black pins' edges line up with the edge of the inside cylinder and allow rotation.
