Klipsch La Scala Clone - Bottom - Modified · 模型 146823
Very similar to Klipsch La Scala. Dimensions changed while testing various 12 and 15 in. OEM and third-party drivers during simulations and in various earlier builds. This was most successful attempt using Klipsch K-43-E drivers and preforms equal to or (most likely) better (verified in latter tests) than my 1960's La Scalas with similar (or the same) K-43 drivers installed. Constructed from 1.25 and 0.75 in. Purebond maple face plywood remnants and 1 in. maple. Assembled with glue, staples, nails, and 1/4-20 in. t-nuts, washers, and socket head cap screws. Interior cavity was reinforced and sealed with fiberglass. Apx 0.4 in. of optional accoustic dampening material was stapled to the inside of driver cavity. Finished with many thin brushed coats of water based dark cherry stain/polyurethane combo. Parts in files do NOT include clearances that were added in CAM before cutting on a CNC router table.
