Build with dimensions that resulted in (slightly) better frequency response in Ansys Sound and real life. Based on 15" Klipsch K33 or K43 (tested with both) and various midrange horns, tweeters, and crossover configs. Listeners (who hear better than I) preferred PRV Audio TW700Ti tweeters and midrange horns/EV drivers removed from Klipsch KSM-15 stage monitors. Tested with several tube-based PP amps and random Yamaha, HK, and Onkyo receivers. Cut on CNC router table from 1.25 and 0.75 in. Purebond birch plywood. Assembled with pocket hole screws, glue, and fiberglass resin. Performance verified using SRS spectrum analyzers and various characterized microphones in random and semi-controlled environments. Eighth in series and absolutely my last La Scala style speaker build. Have fun!
