This 3D model represents the KOBOLD Bypass Level Switch, Model NBE-2. These bypass level switches (models NBA/NBE) are used for level monitoring in bypass applications where space is limited (e.g., with agitators) or at high temperatures. The instrument features a metal housing with an internally mounted magnetic level switch and operates on the principle of communicating tubes. When the bypass level switch housing is approximately half-filled with liquid, the float rises, and the internal ring magnet actuates a changeover contact inside the measuring tube. This contact can switch solenoid valves, signal lamps, or pumps via suitable electrical auxiliaries such as relays or contactor relays.
