meant to improve cooling and ergonomics for a Clevo P150*M (SM EM HM) laptop and cat-proof the keyboard, which is why there is plexiglass above it (and it can also be usefull to hold paper notes at sight) You can also see detail of the design process here, in french : https://fabmanager.csc49.fr/#!/projects/support-incline-pour-ordinateur-portable-avec-protege-clavier just had to adjust the plexi a bit using 3D printed parts to make it a bit higher and further away from the screen
