This fixture is used for the fabrication of metallic cranial plates. The objective is to obtain repeatability in the micro spot welds' position to join the sheets. The fixture is fabricated by FDM technology in PC ISO material in a Fortus 400MC from Stratasys. The fixture has already tested and the results obtained were published in Influence of process parameters for sheet lamination based on laser micro-spot welding of austenitic stainless steel sheets for bone tissue applications (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00170-021-07113-3)
