This project is a detailed SolidWorks CAD reconstruction of the LEGO Technic Ferrari 488 Pista (number 42235), released in 2026. The model was recreated from the LEGO Technic set with a focus on accurately representing the overall vehicle geometry, mechanical details, moving functions, and assembly structure. PISTA LT is the top-level assembly. The model was created as a CAD reconstruction and engineering visualization project rather than an official LEGO or Ferrari design. The purpose of the project is to explore how a complex LEGO Technic vehicle can be translated into a structured 3D CAD assembly and to demonstrate SolidWorks modeling, assembly, mechanical design, and visualization and animation techniques. Please note that the connector pegs have been omitted due to simulation capacity limitations. A neutral STEP file is also provided for users who do not use SolidWorks and would like to inspect the geometry in another compatible CAD system. The model is provided for educational, personal, and non-commercial CAD reference purposes. It is an independent fan-made reconstruction and is not an official LEGO or Ferrari CAD model. The original LEGO product and associated automotive branding remain the property of their respective rights holders. This CAD project is intended to document the modeling and engineering process and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LEGO or Ferrari.
