This project is a part for my Mechanical Eng. bachelor project at the Danish Technical University. I have collaborated with Carl Georg Rasmussen of Leitra (www.Leitra.dk) to preserve the Leitra velomobile in digital form. A little about the Leitra velomobile: The Leitra velomobile is described as the first series production velomobile, featuring a space frame chassis, carbon leaf springs with an approximate weight of 30 kg. Carl Georg Rassmussen is in third decade of production of the vehicle, constantly refining it. So far, around 350 of them have been sold worldwide, he is glad to have me share his designs on this platform, and has never patented any part of it. A little about my research: As can be seen, this is not a fully assembly of the vehicle, the files were used as a basis for FE simulations. Significantly, the main components missing here are the fairing, the seat and the crank mast, which I have left outside of this project's scope.
