Lissajous Mechanism · 模型 277096
An original project made with Autodesk Inventor 2014 as a Dynamic simulation. The action is due to the imposed rotational motion on the two cranks (blue and orange). My project „Lissajous Pendulum” presented what is the origin of the Lissajous curves. The curves Lissajous can be generated also using mechanical or electronic means. Here is presented a mechanical mechanism that generates Lissajous curves. The movie is made for the action of 18 seconds without any friction. The two rotational movements are different: • Blue cranks = 140 degrees/second • Orange cranks = 120 degrees/sec The lengths of cranks are also different: • Blue cranks = 40 mm • Orange cranks = 45 mm The mentioned differences produce a rectangular graph with a different number of curls on the two directions. As usual, if you work with Inventor you will find all the .iam and .ipt files so you can download them to enter Environments / Dynamic simulation and see for yourself what's happening. You will have all the settings at your will, so you can change everything. Enjoy!
