Locus Aircraft- Electric Light Sport Plane Concept · 模型 14927
This project is an Electric concept Aircraft for the Light Sport category of FAA regulations, i.e. you require a Sport Plane License to fly. It uses counter rotating propellers to reduce inflight vibrations and also allow for roll control while vertical stall (Situation where the Ailerons cannot Aerodynamically roll the Aircraft). It has a cockpit LCD touch screen interface along with feedback controller supported flight control stick. ( i.e. If flight assistance is turned on, servos connected to the manual yoke control with stabilized flight in case of compromising aircraft trajectory). These automatic control mechanisms can also be easily overridden when engaged via manual stick control where the pilot would have to work against the servo control actuation. Aerodynamic airfoil testing in progress, i.e. airplane airfoils are not yet flight ready. Please give your feed back, as it is greatly valued, Thank you!
