LORIS 600 – Modular Assembly Tool Cart · 模型 127579
LORIS 600 is a mobile tool cart designed to follow the operator during the assembly of machines, components and furniture-related products. It features shelves for storage bins and components, modular perforated panels, and dedicated mounting points for hand tools and power tools. Its configuration can be adapted to different workstations, keeping tools organized, visible and within easy reach. Main body dimensions: 600 × 525 mm. The structure is mainly manufactured from folded sheet metal: * 0.7 mm sheet metal panels and covers; * 1.5 mm structural shelves; * modular perforated panels for tool holders and accessories; * provision for swivel casters and interchangeable accessories. The published model represents Version V0, currently intended for the manufacture and evaluation of the first prototype. Further versions will follow, incorporating feedback from practical testing and assembly operators. The cart was named LORIS in recognition of the employee who originally suggested the idea. ### Project Update – First Prototype The first LORIS 600 prototype has been completed and has just entered its operational testing phase. Loris, the assembly operator who originally suggested the idea, will use the cart during normal assembly activities. Maneuverability, stability under load, tool accessibility, accessory arrangement and overall performance in daily use will be evaluated. Feedback and possible improvements will be recorded during the testing period and used to develop the next versions of the project. Project Update – First Prototype The published images show the actual manufactured prototype and are not renderings. The original background was replaced to avoid showing the real workshop interior; lighting and color balance were also adjusted to improve visibility. The product shown is the physical prototype that was actually built.
