There are a huge number of devices for sharpening drill bits, especially DIY ones. Youtube is full of them. But we found one designed by @aspirin102 that we really liked. (And it is 3D printed) For a machine shop it is easy to do and sharpening the bits is quite fast and easy. We only improved a couple of things, like adding a stop so that the edges of the bit are the same length, and other small details. You sharpen one edge first, then turn the bit holder 180 degrees, and finish the other edge. Another thing, make sure that when you place the drill bit, the cutting edge lip is horizontal. Still, we believe that our version can be improved even more.
