Magnavox Tube Amplifier 9302-00 Enclosure · 模型 155971
Quickie (and kinda ugly - mostly due to nightmare Varathane "one-step" stain and poly finish (never again...) that didn't want to adhere to wood, itself, and dried before it could level) enclosure for a 1960's Magnavox 9302-00 tube amplifier (dual PP 6BQ5/EL84 with vintage tubes and modern caps and resistors) chassis. This amp was modified (added 12AU7 preamp with gain pots, fuse, power switch, and 3-wire power cord) and placement of holes in enclosure reflect access to those changes. Amplifier slides in from rear and there are two stops to hold it in place. Sized to fit on a 19 in. rack shelf or sit on or under my biggest receivers (Onkyo and HK). Never needed a full enclosure but friend is dragging it to a recording studio and they told her anything remaining overnight had to be on wheels, in rack, or stackable. CNC cut from 0.75 in. oak Columbia plywood and solid oak. Assembled with Titebond Ultimate glue. Four 0.25 in. SHCS, tee nuts, and washers secure the back. 3D printed cover will hide gain pots on front. Pix after finish dries.
