Magnetic Camera Mount for PowerSpec, Wanhao, MonoPrice Duplicator i3 · 模型 16831
This camera mount can be easily moved from the front to the back of the Wanhoa, PowerSpec, or Monoprice Duplicator i3. It can also be adjusted on the fly due to the magnetic mounting scheme. The magnets are 12mm by 3mm, found on Amazon and glued into the base using super glue. The camera is mounted to the base with a single 1/4-20 by 3/8'' machine screw. I may add something to give the camera a bit more clearance as I have to move it back a bit to clear the hot end, but it is still catching 2 of the three magnets on each side and seems to be quite firmly attached. I'll add to this post if I decide to do that. The included g-code should work on a stock PowerSpec with PLA at 210C - not sure about the others. Update : mounting extension added. The extension is designed to be tap-threaded post print and attached to the main body with a 1/2-20x1/2'' machine screw. Update 2 : Look for a new design of this in my library. This one works OK, but it is a bit too flimsy and vibrates too much when the printer is doing short, repetitive strokes. The new one is more robust, but I'm leaving this one up because it is easier and faster to print and it does work if you don't mind a bit more of the shaky-cam effect.
