Whatever Russian aren't made the made up was crap ;) Due the original ignition wasn't very reliable, so enthusiasts discovered the Magneto conversion plate to connect Magneto into Riga 6...8 (for a bicycle with an auxiliary motor) or also with previous engines as well Magneto itself came from tractor starter motor which was widely "available" in collective farms.
