Makita Saw Track Profile · 模型 102795
I’ve been creating some add-ons for my Makita track. I found it useful to keep a small section on hand for testing, so I measured up my original Makita track metal work and reproduced the profile. I hope that you find this track as accurate as I think I have made it. I’ve included a profile image file of the Makita track metal work that I measured up. To help designers build track add-ons, I’ve also included a STEP file of the profile. The STL/3MF file I included contains a 100mm section of track. With a little effort, you can scale or chop the length to your own needs. My sample print that you see in the photos is a 50mm cut section. THANK YOU I hope that you can find this print useful, too. If so, you can support my work by buying me a coffee … https://buymeacoffee.com/dansoussi Remember to leave a comment, perhaps a like to keep me enthused to make more. I have a 100+ published designs. Do check them out. PRINTING INFORMATION My print is made in 1.75mm Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ White filament, with 0.2mm layer height on a Bambu Lab H2 Series printer. A brim support is recommended. Both print profile and the individual STL files are included for download. Q&A Q: Can I print and use my own saw track with my circular saw? A: Technically you can use my print file and make your own saw track. I would not recommend it nor do I think it would work well. The aluminium anodised finish on a real track is smooth and reasonably resistant to ware. Strength and rigidity is also important. A plastic part won’t match that.
