The design of this object aims to capture mosquitoes directly after they start to fly. The canister was realized in such a way that every single cavity inside is positioned so that every pyramid tip supports 4 edges of the upper pyramids. If closely observed, between a pyramid and the other there is enough room to let the larvas swim through so that they can reach every spot in the structure. 3D Printing tecnology is the only one which is able to produsce in just one piece this object. Finally it should be noticed that (if water is puor inside in a correct way, so leaving the canister in the vertical position) a lot of water could be saved and the trap might be fulfulled with just a 1/4 L.
