This is the design of my MDF CNC router machine with a working space of 550 x 485 x 100 mm which can easily cut wood and with a little effort aluminum too. The structure of the router is mostly made in MDF, not a particularly strong material but the cheapest one. However the machine base is made of steel beams (40x40mm) welded together. The router has a 1.5 kW mill moved by 3 stepper motor NEMA 23 and 3 ball screws SFU1204. Every axis has also 2 rails guides and 4 linear bearings HGR20.
