Hi everyone! As a mechatronics enthusiast, I’ve always been curious about the mechanical magic behind classic toys. Today, I’m sharing a complete, functional assembly of a Mechanical Sketch Toy (Etch A Sketch). I designed this project to showcase how simple rotational inputs from two knobs translate into precise X and Y linear motion using a pulley and cord system. Key Features: Full Assembly: Every internal component is modeled according to mechanical logic. Educational: Great for students to understand motion transmission and basic robotics kinematics. Multiple Formats: I’ve uploaded all individual SolidWorks (.SLDPRT & .SLDASM) files and a universal STEP file for easy access. 🛠 Note: Since files are uploaded individually, I highly recommend downloading the .STEP file to see the full assembly without any "missing part" errors.
