This is a custom metal cnc lathe, designed entirely in Autodesk Fusion. most of the parts are from steel and aluminum stock, the main body is cast from epoxy granite. spindle motor is a 1500W AC Servo. Tailstock and spindle are off the shelf parts from a Grizzly lathe (can be puchased from Grizzly directly). some of the models (like the chuck) were downloaded from GrabCad and other public places. The lathe is actually in the process of being built and assembled.
