Had to learn another level of NX to get this but i think it was worth it! played around with surfaces on Tuesday, sweeps on Wednesday, and made it Thursday. Design intent is to make an infinitely adjustable support structure, allowing FEA optimization by simply altering # of supports / cross section size / shape / location. model is made in NX and uses strictly swept solids, allowing; -Boolean functions to combine structures -Stress riser reduction through fillets and radii -Independent adjustments of individual members -no limitation from surface intersections
