Here is a kitchen metal stick holder. It's modular and features recesses for 10 mm diameter magnets. Once super glued in, the magnets allow the blocks to stick together. Additionally, the magnets holes on the side allow metal sticks to be stuck to the side of the metal stick holder if they're magnetic. The large module can accommodate 55 mm [~2"] by 190 mm [~7.5"] metal sticks. The medium module can accommodate 35 mm [~1.3"] by 170 mm [~6.7"] metal sticks. The small module can accommodate 17.5 mm [~0.7"] by 120 mm [~4.7"] metal sticks.
