Mission Statement: Mil will be an auxiliary sailboat intended to be a performance cruiser that can be single handed or house a total crew of six. She will be intended for temperate climates and is ocean going with a total endurance of 25 days. Mil will be a vessel that's fun and fast in a regatta but hits the right compromise of speed versus luxury for those longer coastal or oceanic cruises. Me: This is my first preliminary design of a vessel. I am currently in college studying naval architecture, and this was an incredible experience designing my first sailboat. I am an avid sailor and want to give a big shout out to the GrabCad Community for having a wonderful library of CAD files I could use to aid my design. I hope to return the favor and also help others as they take what's their minds eye and make it real. Thank you yall!
