I made this for a friend who wanted to use a Raspberry Pi, an SSD, and a camera to get good quality videos of birds on his deck. This project here just houses the SSD and the Raspberry Pi (with case). I believe they are using their old phone as the camera. This project could be turned into almost anything else if you wanted to. Not sure of the software used, but I imagine it'll be some sort of Pi specific linux distro.
