A miniature solder paste screenprinter for use with small PCB's, or in this case for reballing / applying solder paste on a single component. Used for PCB rework. When this component (VL53L3 sensor in LCC package) needs to be removed, the solder pads are cleaned. The exact amount of solder paste is now applied to the component using the screen printing process. The stencil was cut from a production stencil that belonged to an older version. The same process can be used for reballing BGA's. Just change the component holder. And be sure to keep some apertures for a tweezer of screwdriver to flip out the component again. The component holder can shift vertically and the stencil holder can shift horizontally. This allows precise positioning. The stencil holder can keep it's position by using 4x double M3 nuts which can be set into fixed positions after aligning. Note: the stencil holder top got damaged when taking it off the build plate. It was 2mm thick the other parts are 3mm. In the published files I increased the thickness of the stencil holder top to 3mm.
