Solidworks zip file of the new steam locomotive project. This will be a live steam model on 5-inch gauge. (scale 1:11.3). This loco will be constructed in the coming years. A model of the Great Eastern Railway (UK) is known as a Y14 class loco. A 0-6-0 tender locomotive. The drawing and model are still under design/construction. 5th January 2025. See comments for the latest update of the drawing (January 2025) (Pack and Go folder Solidworks (v2024). Alas it is not possible anymore here at Grabcad to upload the zip file directly. So download all the files in the Pack&Go directory and store them on your PC. Open the file named 'TOTAAL Complete loco and tender assembly.SLDASM'. This will open the total assembly, from which you can view and open all the individual parts or sub-assemblies. If you want to build this live steam model: the boiler drawing is finished and approved by the boiler inspector.
