Modified Press Brake Foot Pedal with Raised Emergency Stop · 模型 43751
CAD model of a modified press brake foot pedal assembly, updated from an existing older pedal unit. The modification was developed to improve the position and accessibility of the emergency stop push button. The emergency stop was moved to a raised position using a dedicated custom support, specifically designed for the application and manufactured using 3D printing. This solution made it possible to reuse the original foot pedal structure while modifying only the components required for the upgrade. MAIN MODIFICATIONS reuse of the original foot pedal assembly; repositioning of the emergency stop button; raised emergency stop position; custom-designed mounting support; support manufactured using FDM/FFF 3D printing; integration of the modification into the existing assembly. APPLICATION This project is an example of retrofitting an existing machine component, where CAD design and additive manufacturing were used to quickly produce a custom component without replacing the complete foot pedal assembly.
