ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (READ BEFORE USE): Print all parts except the metal pin and magnets. Clean the prints. Remove supports and ensure all joints move freely. Magnet installation (important): Use neodymium magnets (N45, 5 mm diameter, 1.5 mm thickness). Phone side: Arrange magnets in an alternating pattern (N, S, N, S). If the holding force is weak, reverse the pattern (S, N, S, N). Back side (metal surface): All magnets should face the same direction (all N or all S). Glue all magnets securely into their slots using super glue or epoxy. Make sure magnets are fully seated and aligned before the glue sets. Place the base on a flat surface. Hinge connection: Insert the arm into the base hinge slot. Align the holes carefully. Pin installation: Recommended pin: 3 mm diameter, 22 mm length, stainless steel. If not available, use carbon steel. Alternative: cut a 3 mm plastic filament to length. Last option: use a 3D printed pin. Insert the pin through the hinge and check for smooth rotation. Phone holder attachment: Attach the top holder piece to the arm. Press fit or snap into place depending on tolerance. Adjustment check: Move the stand through its range to ensure smooth motion. If too tight, lightly sand the joints. If too loose, add friction such as tape.
