Multi-Source Fish Drying Machine – Electric, Solar, and Biomass Heated System (Thesis Prototype) Designed by: Aegle Prototype Design https://youtube.com/shorts/PRoPbYYPeM0 This thesis prototype introduces a Fish Drying Machine that utilizes three different heating sources to ensure efficient, continuous, and sustainable drying of fish regardless of weather conditions. The system is designed with a hybrid heating approach to optimize energy use and maintain drying consistency. Integrated Heating Sources: Electric Heating Coil – For precise, consistent drying when solar or biomass heat is insufficient. Solar Heating System – Uses corrugated metal plates to absorb sunlight, with fans blowing the collected hot air into the drying chamber. Biomass Heater – Burns agricultural waste (like rice husks or wood) to provide backup thermal energy, especially useful during cloudy or nighttime operations. The drying chamber ensures uniform airflow, temperature control, and sanitation, making it suitable for community-based fish processing, coastal livelihood projects, or student-led sustainable tech initiatives. Key Features: Triple Heating Source – Electric, solar thermal, and biomass for all-weather operation. Corrugated Solar Collector – Maximizes solar heat absorption and airflow efficiency. Thermal Regulation System – Controls heat distribution to prevent over-drying. Eco-Friendly Design – Reduces dependency on electricity and fossil fuels. Scalable Chamber Design – Ideal for small to medium-scale fish drying operations. Applications: Fish farming, coastal communities, sustainable livelihood programs, and agri-processing innovations. 💡 Dry smarter—rain or shine, power or no power. 📩 Contact me directly: aguilautoy@gmail.com
